What is a Cost-plus contract?
A Cost-plus contract is a contract where the final price is the actual costs of all the labor and material plus a set percentage for overhead and profit. Although the final price won’t be known untill the project is finished, we find it to be a much more honest approach then a fixed-price contract. Because the big fluctuations in construction costs in the last few years, the margin we would need to take on a fixed-price contract, just doesn’t make sense. And, because all the decisions on subs and finishes are made together with the Owner and his team, the Owner has ulitmate control of the final cost of the project.
What is Open Book reporting?
Open book reporting is exactly that. Every requisition from us will have an overview and receipts for every expense billed. This allows our clients to check and control every expense, so they can be sure that there are no hidden up charges or fees.
